Welcome to Year 3

Welcome to Year 3! We are so excited to begin a new school year filled with learning, discovery and lots of opportunities to grow, learn and discover.

This year, we have a big focus on Strong Foundations. Throughout the year, children will have regular opportunities to practise and embed the essential knowledge, skills and habits they need, alongside their Year 3 curriculum. By revisiting important learning regularly, we aim to help children become confident and independent learners who can apply what they know across different subjects and situations.

We want our children to be curious, resilient and proud of their learning. Through our lessons, classroom routines and wider experiences, we will encourage them to ask questions, explain their thinking, make connections and challenge themselves.

We are looking forward to an exciting year together and can't wait to see our Year 3 children strengthen their foundations, grow in confidence and flourish!
