Nursery Welcome

Welcome to Longmoor Community Primary School's Nursery!

Things you need to know:

• Staff names:
  • Mrs. Gough
  • Mrs. Callaghan
  • Mrs. Mannion

• Session times:
  • 8:30 - 11:30 (mornings) OR
  • 12:15 - 3:15 (afternoons)
• The Nursery entrance is on Longmoor Lane (opposite Tesco)
• Please don't send your child to nursery in lace-up shoes - Velcro shoes or pumps are ideal
• Every item of clothing needs to be labelled with your child's name (even spares!) - marker pen or biro on the label is fine - since all jumpers look the same!
• Water bottles are not needed, since we have water available on demand (which the children dispense independently, when they need it)
• Your child will need spare clothes from home (labelled with their name!) to keep in a small bag on their peg in school - a carrier bag with their name on is ideal for this, since we don't have enough peg space for large rucksacks!
• A pair of wellies to keep in Nursery is a really good idea, since we like messy and wet play outside - please write your child's name inside each welly
• In hot weather, we recommend that your child comes to school with sun cream already applied, as well as a sun hat or cap
• We will contact you regularly via our Nursery app, Marvellous Me, with news, information and photographs
