Nursery Hours
We are a local authority-maintained Nursery providing high-quality early education for children from the age of three in a safe and caring environment.
The vision and values of Longmoor are the same for our Nursery. We support the children in our care to become confident, self-motivated and independent learners and offer a stimulating environment with a mix of adult-led and child-initiated activities.
We follow the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage and our exciting and diverse curriculum which is constantly evolving covers a diverse range of subjects that spark the children’s interests.
Our expansive outside area provides an exciting and stimulating environment allowing the children to use their imagination, creativity and curiosity to lead the way in their own learning.
We run a number of stay-and-play sessions throughout the year where parents and carers are invited into school to take part in activities with their child based around a specific area of learning.
If you are entitled to 15 hours free childcare, we offer:
- 8:30 - 11:30 (15 hour morning sessions)
or
- 12:15 - 3:15 (15 hour afternoon sessions)
